Project Purple, Day 15

When I shared my “what to do if someone is having a seizure” fact, I suggest keeping time. The thing I didn’t say is HOW LONG a seizure seems to last when it’s happening. It is important to keep accurate time, and call for emergency personnel if a seizure lasts more than 5 minutes. But part of the reason you need to keep time, is because 5 seconds of a seizure FEELS like forever. Trust me, I speak from experience. It is nearly impossible to accurately estimate the time of a seizure without a time piece of some kind, so please, use it, and make sure that information is shared at the next doctor’s appointment.
